Botox Injection Overview
Botox injections are a quick and effective way to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure typically takes just a few minutes and may cause mild redness, swelling, or bruising, which usually subsides quickly. Most clients can resume normal activities immediately and drive themselves to and from the appointment.
Pre-Procedure Guidelines for Botox
- void blood thinners, alcohol, and supplements with anticoagulant effects (e.g., aspirin, fish oil) for at least two weeks prior to your treatment to minimize the risk of bruising and swelling.
- A medical evaluation will be conducted to assess your goals, review your medical history, and determine the best treatment plan.

The Injection Process
- The treatment area will be cleansed and prepared, and a thin needle will be used to inject Botox into the targeted muscles.
